Some property concerns require more than a standard inspection. Specialist services can be added to an existing survey or commissioned separately where additional testing, technical evidence or professional support is required.
These services can help investigate concealed or complex defects, strengthen the evidence available for repair decisions and support discussions between owners, landlords, contractors, housing providers, insurers or legal representatives. DampRo UK can also attend meetings, review repair proposals and provide clear technical explanations of survey findings.
Specialist Service Fees
Our specialist services can be commissioned as survey add-ons or as separate instructions. Fees depend on the type of investigation, the time required, the property location and the level of reporting or professional involvement requested. A written quotation will be provided before any work begins.
Final fees depend on the scope of the instruction, the information provided, travel requirements and the level of written reporting requested. Additional work will not be undertaken without prior agreement.

Technical and Dispute Support
Independent technical support for complaints, disputes, disrepair matters and complex repair cases.
DampRo UK can review existing reports, photographs, repair records and contractor proposals to provide an independent technical opinion. We can explain the likely causes of defects, assess whether proposed works address the underlying problem and help identify where further investigation may be needed. A surveyor can attend online or in-person meetings with property owners, landlords, housing providers, contractors, insurers or legal representatives. This may include presenting the findings, answering technical questions and discussing the suitability and priority of proposed remedial works.

Reinspection and Post-Works Verification
Independent checks following repairs or remedial works.
A reinspection can assess whether recommended works appear to have been completed, whether visible defects remain and whether further monitoring or investigation is appropriate. Where required, photographs and a short findings letter can be provided.

Travel Charges
All travel charges exclude VAT.

| Parking, Toll Roads & Congestion Charges | Charged at cost where applicable |
Distances are calculated using the normal practical driving route from our Coventry operating base to the property. For locations beyond the included 20-mile radius, mileage is charged on the additional outward and return distance. Any parking, toll, congestion-zone or similar charges will be added to the final invoice.
Where several properties are inspected during the same journey, travel charges may be divided between the appointments where appropriate. Additional travel expenses will not be incurred without prior agreement.
Cancellations & No-Access
Where an appointment cannot proceed because access has not been provided, the inspection fee and any applicable travel costs may remain payable.
